About Touch of Paradise Massage Therapy
Founded in 2007 by Rob Palaski, Touch of Paradise Massage Therapy has been a haven of tranquility for his clients over the past eight years.
Experienced and knowledgeable in different modalities of massage, Rob is unique in his blend of techniques that help create his innate vision of wellness for his clients. This unique blend includes acupressure, sports massage, and Swedish massage, along with a few trade secrets.
About Rob Palaski
Rob is a 2002 graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Connecticut and is certified by the National Certification Board for Massage. He is also a 1995 graduate of the National Association of Health Facilities as a personal trainer.
In addition to his therapy background, Rob earned a business degree in 1993.
In 1997, Rob was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a rare degenerative eye condition that affects the rods and the cones of the retina, which in turn causes the loss of peripheral vision and, in some cases, complete blindness.
Rob is visually impaired and aided by his guide dog, O'Rourke. A blessing in disguise, Rob's impaired vision has given him the great gift of being able to have his "eyes wide open" on both his hands and his instincts; it has greatly enhanced his natural ability as an extremely gifted massage therapist.
